Thrilled with Slingshot’s personal and detail-oriented service, clients began requesting IT help too, so in 2006 they began offering a new approach to IT services.  “I knew I could automate this tech stuff, so Slingshot was able to start offering Managed IT Services years before the term existed, and when almost every IT provider could still only react once their clients asked.”

Going proactive proved very popular, and Rob soon had to expand his team to cover demand.  With fresh expertise, Slingshot then added new capabilities to cover standard business IT needs, including Managed Antivirus, MailControl, and Hotsite backups.  “By 2017, proactive/managed IT had become our primary focus, so we wrapped ALL of our services together into our Pro-Managed package, and from there we just kept raising the bar!  Small businesses couldn’t ignore security anymore, so we added WebFilter.  They needed excellent connectivity, so we added Managed Network.  They started getting targeted by bad guys, so we made SecurityAware.”
